Rachel Kafka and Nate Hennagin, a married couple living and working in Los Angeles, are on the hunt to find, and get lost in, "Lost Angeles."
This blog is meant to help preserve LA's storied past - the pieces of its history that are long gone, and those that remain today. Rachel & Nate hope to inspire urban exploration for tourists and locals alike, share their love of history and LA culture, and piece together a guide inspired by LA's days gone by.
Rachel has a BA in American Studies and a MA in Humanities with extensive experience in historical research. A total nerd for all things 20th century American history, Rachel especially loves art deco and mid-century architecture, vintage fashion, the Golden Age of Hollywood, and exploring abandoned and historic places.
